Publix Charities sponsored a Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville home as part of its 2016 donation to affiliates throughout the Southeast. Now, the home-build has been completed.

Publix Charities recently gave Harry Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers, Florida a grant to purchase a van, which is being used to pick up food drive donations.

Representatives of United Way of Northeast Georgia in Athens recently visited their local Publix store and received Publix Charities’ $211,500 donation.

A representative of United Way of Wilson County in Lebanon, Tennessee was recently presented with Publix Charities’ gift of $56,200.

Each year, Publix associates pledge to United Way, largely through payroll deductions. In 2016, associates pledged $35.5 million. Publix Super Markets Charities will provide an additional $26.5 million for a total of $62 million.
